Chairman William Wise opened the meeting at 2:05 p.m. He acknowledged Councilor Fred Schwab, whose current term on the Council would expire in February 2001 and who had indicated that he did not seek reappointment. Mr. Wise noted that Mr. Schwab was an original appointee to the Council in 1987. He thanked Mr. Schwab for his years of effective service on the Council and recognized his many contributions to marine resource management in New York State.
