Mr. Wise distributed and reviewed a brief written summary of progress to date by this group. In response to a suggestion from Councilor Davi, Mr. Wise noted that, at present, eligibility requirements are present only for the commercial foodfish, crab, and lobster licenses. The work group will discuss the issue of whether additional state fishery licenses (e.g., shellfish diggers license) should also be subject to certain eligibility requirements.
