Mr. Colvin reported that the public comment period on proposed changes to the marine finfish and crustacean regulations that he had presented to the Council at its July 2002 meeting had ended. Three written comments were received on this rule-making. Mr. Colvin passed out the express terms of this rule-making, a summary of which is attached to this bulletin. The Council made no substantive comments on these proposals and voted unanimously to recommend that DEC move to adopt these changes to the current regulations.
