Several misspellings in the draft minutes of the Council’s 21 January 2003 meeting were identified and will be corrected. Councilor Robert Doxsee attended the January meeting, but is not so listed, while Councilor Jack Ferrera is noted as present at the meeting, but he was not. Noting that all councilors were beginning to look alike to him, Chairman Wise stated that this inexplicable transposition will also be corrected. The minutes were unanimously accepted with these changes.

Chairman Wise asked the Council if it preferred more lengthy and detailed minutes as were distributed for the 21 January 2003 Council meeting, or a shortened, condensed version. The Council opted for the former; the Council bulletin will continue to be an abridged version of these minutes. Councilor Bob Danielson asked that DEC resume providing a narrative on recent marine enforcement actions for inclusion in the bulletin. Captain Otterstedt of Division of Law Enforcement said he would try to get the information together in time for the next bulletin’s publication.
