Councilor Danielson questioned why the Department’s I Fish New York program was not being promoted more aggressively. Mr. Colvin responded that the Department has hired one new staff person for the program and, through a contract with Cornell Cooperative Extension, will soon engage two additional people. He will arrange a briefing on the program at the Council’s September 2003 meeting.
