Chairman Wise stated one of the Council’s seats has been vacant since the resignation of Kerry Sullivan, whose seat is one filled by nomination from the Speaker of the New York Assembly (Mr. Sheldon Silver).  He informed audience members that anyone interested in becoming a member of the Council should contact their State Assemblyperson and ask him/her to communicate with Mr. Silver’s office.
