Chairman Wise began the meeting at 2:05 p.m., stating that the Council would devote the greater part of the meeting to legislation that deals with marine resources that are under active consideration by the New York State Legislature.  Review/approval of the draft minutes of the Council’s 29 March 2005 meeting will be deferred until the 17 May 2005 meeting.
