Mr. Gordon Colvin, Director of Marine Resources for DEC, introduced the Council’s two newest council members, Mr. Christopher Squeri and Mr. Charles Witek.  Mr. Squeri is the Executive Director of the Marine Trades Association, which represents all boat and marine businesses on Long Island, and is also a very active member of the Recreational Fishing Alliance.  A former member of the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council, Mr. Witek was the founding Chairman of The Coastal Conservation Association (CCA) of New York and is currently Vice Chair of CCA’s National Government Relations Committee.  Mr. Wise welcomed both individuals to the Council. 

The draft minutes of the 20 September 2005 & 15 November 2005 Council meeting were unanimously approved without revision.
