"Correction Notice:  The bulletin of the 18 April 2006 meeting of the Marine Resources Advisory Council incorrectly indicated that the New York State Assembly had recently passed legislation establishing standards that the State Department of Environmental Conservation would have to meet prior to creating any areas within New York's Marine District in which recreational fish harvests would be prohibited.  The Assembly has considered such legislation (as has the State Senate), but, to date, has not passed it."
