Mr. Wise informed the Council that he planned to reconvene the subcommittee in early April so that it could continue and complete its objectives--to assess the severity of the bycatch issue in New York’s fisheries and make recommendations for legislative and regulatory changes to reduce or minimize the problem. He will call councilors Schwab, McCarron, Mason and Doxsee to set up a meeting.
