John Mason of DEC announced that striped bass regulations were now being reviewed in Albany and should come back by the end of November 2000. Issues included using tags on boats other than one’s own, swapping tags, whether the license should require full time participation, vessel endorsement, etc. Mr. Wise said that MRAC should consider the regulations again after the hearing and public comment periods.
