Councilor John Davi asked that the Council support the idea of increasing the lobster by-catch allowance given to those fishing with fish traps.  The present by-catch limit is 6.  Mr. Davi suggested it be raised to 100.  His suggestion sparked a brief but animated discussion.   Chairman Wise suggested this issue be tabled until the next meeting when more information would be available to see how this would affect and interplay with the existing regulations.
