The Council will devote its next meeting to review and discussion of bills before the New York State Legislature that deal with or affect the state’s living marine resources and fishing/seafood industries. Many such bills currently before the Legislature are bills from last year’s session that did not pass and have been reintroduced. A list of the bills to be considered at the 18 April 2000 meeting will be posted on the Council’s web page (http://www.msrc.sunysb.edu/mrac/) about a week before the meeting.
