LIGRI is involved in cooperation with the DEC on a nationwide study program for MTBE remediation. Joe O'Connell of Environmental Resolutions, Inc. and Ellen Moyer of Greenvironment, LLC gave a presentation on the use of fluidized bed bioreactors for the ex-situ remediation of MTBE and TBA in Groundwater in California. Case histories detailing experience with these reactors were reviewed and there were discussions of applications to specific sites in New Hampshire.
