Friends of SoMAS

There are many ways to give to the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, including outright gifts of cash to the Akira Okubo Fund or the Jerry R. Schubel Endowment Fund, or a variety of planned gifts.

Outright gifts may be made by check, money order or credit card. Checks and money orders should be made payable to the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences/SBF. The Center also accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover.  To donate on-line please click here.  When you are donating to the Okubo Fund please signify so on the donation form by referencing account number 283110.  When you are donating to the Schubel Fund please signify so on the donation form by referencing this account number 363820. If you prefer donating to SoMAS’s general foundation account please reference account number 264280.

Planned gifts offer an opportunity to help donors retain or receive income in addition to providing assets to the School of Marine and Atmospheric Sciences. Please consult your legal and financial advisors to determine the tax advantages of making a planned gift to SoMAS. The Advancement Office would also be pleased to discuss with you the variety of ways that a planned gift can benefit you and your family as well as the Center.
